RANDOM DRUG TESTING INSTRUCTIONS
You are to call this office daily, after 5:00 p.m. at 1-800-488-1627 to obtain the color for the next day.

If the color matches your assigned color, you are required to report to the U.S. Probation Office the following day between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to provide a urine specimen. If you are allowed to provide your specimen at an off-site collection location, you are to report to that location at the time designated by that facility for urine collection. Placement in this color-coded program does not excuse you from having to report for testing on a Friday, over the weekend, or any other day that an officer may direct.

After receiving notification that you are required to report for testing, you shall limit your intake of fluid to not more that twelve ounces. You shall ingest no substance in an attempt to alter the results of the test. You will be allowed a reasonable amount of time to provide a specimen, and must provide at least 45 ml. (½ of a bottle) of your urine for testing. An inability to provide a specimen will viewed as a refusal to provide a sample.

You must provide to the collector at the time you report to your designated location, copies of any prescriptions and/or over-the-counter drugs you have taken in the two weeks prior to the specimen.

Please be advised that if your urine specimen tests positive for a controlled substance that was not prescribed to you, or you attempt to tamper with the collection procedure or in any way attempt to dilute or adulterate the specimen, it will be considered a violation of your supervision and will be reported to the Court. Possible consequences include increased urine surveillance, verbal/written reprimands, referral to substance abuse treatment, a modification of your conditions, or revocation of your release.
